Aaron Stokes

Associate Executive Director, [email protected]

Aaron Stokes graduated from Appalachian State University in 2001 with a major in Information Systems. After working for six years as an Information Technology manager, he went back to school at Columbia International University, where he graduated in 2011 with a Master’s degree in Biblical Exposition.  Aaron is married to Anna, a high school Spanish teacher at Wesleyan Christian Academy.  They are members of Westover Church where Aaron completed his seminary internship working with youth and young adults.

Aaron is being trained by Youth for Christ to champion a new ministry initiative and launch a new ministry model.  At the heart of this initiative is the development of formal partnerships with local churches desiring to have campus ministries in their immediate neighborhoods.

Aaron came on staff with YFC in January of 2012 as the Campus Life Area Coordinator.  His interests include anything having to do with sports (playing or watching), reading (especially history), and spending time with his wife!

  • In Aaron’s own words: “God’s call to ministry came to me through one verse, Isaiah 26:8, ‘…your name and your renown are the desire of our souls.’ God used this verse to plant a desire in my heart to share with youth both who he is and what he has done for us. I am excited about the opportunities I will have through YFC to share the good news of the gospel, for his renown.”
